Already Falling Down on the Job

It is only my second day at my new job. I imagine there are security cameras somewhere although I am not sure I have seen any. In any case, here is how I impressed the people reviewing the security cameras this morning:

Step 1: Wear my favorite 6 inch platform heels to make myself look tall and important.
Step 2: Walk through rainy parking lot and then through the lobby with wet heels.
Step 3: Slip and fall on my face.

How Not to Get Job

Today I had the privilege of manning a booth at a job fair in Warrenton, MO. It was my first job fair and it was very exciting to meet all of the potential job seekers and tell them about some job openings for which they might apply.

Then I saw what was quite possibly the best job seeking outfit I’ve ever seen. Most people go with the traditional (and boring) suit and collared shirt ensemble. Not this gal. This is the shirt she chose to rock for her job interviews:
