Dear Fellow Human Being:
I want to start by thanking you for giving me my daily dose of humanity today.
Thanks for destroying my driver’s side door by backing into or pulling into the parking space next to me at work. Thanks for not leaving a note. Thanks for not calling the police. Thanks for not knocking on the door and saying, “Hey, I made a mistake and I am owning up to it.”
A door ding, I can handle. A scuff from a shopping cart, ok. I’ve had plenty of little scratches and dents on my car from the occasional parking lot snafu. It’s understandable. You may not even notice you did it. But this? Really?
